Icefrog: “E3 isn’t really the right type of venue for dota2, we won’t be there.”

As a big disappointment for all fans Icefrog announced earlier today that DOTA2 will not be at E3. So much for all the rumors and all the hopes of seeing something in E3, DOTA2 will not be featured in this year’s annual video game conference. Sad or not, this is the update we have.

These news will inspire a new wave of rumors on why this has happened, what goes on with the game development etc. We can only guess which other event after E3 Valve will choose to present DOTA2 at. May it be Comic Con 2011, gamescon 2011? It is hard to tell. Hopefully, Icefrog or Valve will announce this soon and shed some more light into the game development progress.
